1. Prerequisites

1.1. What types of phones can use this service?                     Top
Service can be used by any type of phone land line or mobile, within the Xrecording network countries coverage.

1.2. Service is not offered in my country, what can I do?                     Top
Send us an email, access number to most countries can be provided within two business days.


2. How to use

2.1. How can I use the service if my phone is not registered?                     Top
At the time of registration you have receive a unique PIN number. Using this PIN number you can access the network, from any un-register phone.
When calling for the 2nd time from that number, the network will automatically recognize and associate your number with your account; no PIN number entry will be required.

2.2. Where can I view my call recordings?                     Top
Your real-time recording archive can be viewed via your online account portal

2.3. How to record out-going calls using the service, showing my original CallerID:                     Top
1. Dial your country Xrecording network access-number.
2. When answered by network, select #1 for conferencing option.
3. Put the call on [Hold] or hit the [Flash] button.
4. When answered; select the [join] or [Flash] setting on your phone.
5. When done, hang up on both calls, the call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.4. How to record out-going calls without [conference]:                     Top
1. Dial your country Xrecording network call-direct access-number.
2. When answered by network, select #2 for call-direct option.
3. Dial your destination number.
4. When done, hang up on both calls, the call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.5. How to record in-coming calls using the service on a per-need basis:                     Top
1. Answer the in-coming call, put the call on [Hold].
2. Dial your country Xrecording network access-number. Select #1 for conferencing option.

3. Select the "join" or "conference" setting on your phone.
4. When done, hang up on both calls, the call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.6. How to record all my in-coming calls on permanent basis using the service:                     Top
1. Receive a Local number from Xrecording network.
2. Forward your the incoming calls from your regular number, to the local number assigned to you.
3. The call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.7. How to record conference calls using the service:                     Top
1. Dial your country Xrecording network access-number. 2. When answered select #1 for conferencing option, put the call on [Hold].
2. Dial your conference room number.
3. When answered; select the "join" or "conference" setting on your phone.
4. When done, hang up on both calls, the call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.8. How to record a memo using the service:                     Top
1. Dial your country Xrecording network access-number. 2. When answered select #1 for conferencing option.
3. Dictate your memo, when done, hang up the calls 4. The call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.9. How to record out-going calls from Skype network using the service:                     Top
1. Search for Skype user Xrecording and add it to your Friends list.
2. Click on Xrecording Skype user, you will hear a dial tone.
3. Enter your private PIN number which was received at registration.
4. Dial your destination number.
5. When done, hang up on both calls, the call recording will be available in your account portal.

2.10. How to record calls from my IP network using the service:                     Top
1. Connect your network to ours via SIP trunk.
2. Send us all incoming and outgoing calls from your network.
3. Calls will be recorded and sent back to your network.
4. Call recording will be available in your account portal.

The charge for any service on our site will appear as "Zone Technologies Ltd" which is our company name.

3.4. How secure is the order process?                     Top
Our online ordering service is using the latest verification and security technology. Information passed is encrypted using a SSL 256K key which are industry standard in all such transactions.

3.5. Do you take orders by phone or mail?                     Top
No, initial customer registration has to be done by filling the service agreement. Once you are a registered customer, you can modify any of your account services simply by sending us an email.

3.6. What is your privacy policy?                     Top
It is company policy that our customer databases remain confidential and private. We have not, will not, and won't ever sell names to "spammers" or other parties who would like to use our databases to advertise or solicit their products or services. Our products do not collect any information from your phone other than the information required for the service' successful operation.

Yes. In the rare case of a problem, our support team will give you step-by-step instructions to correct your issue and assist in your problem.

3.8. What is the Xrecording return policy?                     Top
Because our product is immediately and automatically delivered and banks of minutes procured, Xrecording must implement a final sales policy. Please read our Terms of Service before making a purchase.

3.9. How do I add more minutes to my online account?                      Top
Customers can add minutes to their personal Xrecording Account by using any standard international credit-card or PayPal account.

3.10. Do I need any special equipment or programs to listen to my recordings online?                     Top
No, Xrecording's recording files can be heard using any standard media player.

3.11. Do I always have to enter my PIN to record outgoing calls?                     Top
No, you can register your originating numbers that will be recognized by network and allow you to place a call to be recorded without entering your PIN number. On the 2nd time you will call from that number, the network will automatically associate its CallerID with your account.


4. Product tech support questions

4.1. Is there any notification that a call is being recorded?                     Top
No notification is given to the caller or receiving party that the call is being recorded. For information on US laws pertaining to call recording disclosures, please click here: http://www.rcfp.org/taping/. When an outgoing call is placed, your regular phone number is displayed on the receiving party's Caller ID.

4.2. Can anyone review recorded data besides me?                     Top
Our server keeps your files safe and secure. Nobody else can access your activity without your secret password.

4.3. Which destination can be called? Can I record international-calls?                     Top
You can call any standard destination phone number. You can't call to service or emergency numbers such as 100/1700/1800/411 etc.

4.4 When can I start call recording?                      Top
Immediately upon purchase, Xrecording will send you an E-mail with your PIN, user name and password for both outgoing calls and DictationPro enabling you to start recording immediately.

4.5 When will the recordings be available?                     Top
Immediately, upon both parties hanging up from the call, the Call recording file will be available in MP3 format inside your personal Xrecording Account Manager for playback and download.

4.6. How secure is the Xrecording server that stores my Call recordings?                     Top
Xrecording actively protects your personal information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. Additionally, all phone call information is 100% confidential and will not be shared with anyone.

4.7. Are there any monthly fees associated with my account?                     Top
There are no monthly fees. All recording minutes are completely pre-paid and can be carried over month to month with no additional fees!

4.8. How long will the call recording files remain in storage on my account?                     Top
As long as your account is active and is in good standing, your call recording .mp3 files will be stored and accessible in your Account Manager.

4.10. How to a [Conference] call on my Nokia phone?                     Top
To change an ordinary phone call into a Conference call during the call.
1. Press [Options] and select [New call].
2. Key in or select from the Contacts list the new number and press [Call]. The first call is put on hold.
3. When the new call has been answered, join participants in the Conference call by pressing [Options] and then selecting [Conference].

4.11. How to a [Conference] call on my BlackBerry phone?                      Top
1. On the Home screen, click Phone.
2. Click the trackwheel and select New Call.
3. Highlight a contact, click the trackwheel, and select Call.
4. While the first contact is highlighted, click the trackwheel and select Hold.
5. Click the trackwheel and select New Call.
6. Select the second recipient, click the trackwheel, and select Call.
7. After you are connected to the second call, click the trackwheel and select Join. The Phone screen shows that you are on a conference call with the two recipients.
8. To add additional recipients to the conference, repeat steps 4 to 7.

4.12. How to a [Conference] call on my Iphone?                     Top
1. Make a call.
2. Tap Add Call and make another call. The first call is put on hold. If you want, you can talk on the second line privately before merging the calls.
3. Tap Merge Calls. The calls are merged onto one line and everyone can hear each other.
4. Repeat steps two and three to add more calls to the conference.
